He Poem by Jesus Castorena

He

He is not a stranger
We see him all the time
We know he is a danger
And he reminds us all the time

He comes in many ways
Silently stalking us
Reducingour lives from years to days
Sometimes we can'tr even take a city bus

He comes in war
Taking millions of lives for his own
Some are even left on the shore
He has shown
He is invincible

He can come in all shapes
From some things we use to others we don't
We never know when he'll dropp the drapes
On our lives and fight back we won't

He can hurt us without us knowing
Sapping our lives through disease
And then it starts showing
Soon we then freeze
And lay in a bed
With a blanket pulled over our face
And in a coffin we stay
Wrapped in sheet that's lined with lace
