He has such staying power
His presence has never changed
Yesterday...today...forever
Jesus is the same
What a Saviour to follow
What a Shepherd who leads
Want some spiritual food for thought
Our Saviour is happy to feed

Come and worship the King
Give praises unto His name
All that have accepted Him as Lord
Are never the same again
Heaven now home for saved sinners
Living as if I am there
Waiting for those blessed words
When I'll meet Him in the air

Sweeter are my days on earth
For Christ now liveth in me
Forgiven for my sins of past
I know what it means to be free
And in prayer I come as a sinner
Saved by the blood of the Lamb
And bring my petitions to the foot of the cross
To Jesus the great I Am
