Pretty maid, where art thou?
I have searched the barren moor
looking through the fields of daisies
and along the lonely shore.
I have a present for thee,
oh 'thee' whom I adore
but now I cannot find thee
please come back I do implore.
Pretty maid, where art thou?
I have some perfume and a rose
to say how much I love thee
from your head down to your toes.
