He Is One Of Those Poem by Francis Duggan

He Is One Of Those

He does not take drugs, smoke cigarettes or drink wine
And he does not have a beer when he is out to dine
And he does not taste alcohol of any kind
Yet better than he is would not be hard to find
He often reads his bible the god fearing man
Yet he can tell lies as good as anyone can
With a certain sort of charisma to some he appeal
But with him 'tis okay if from others he steal
But when someone steals from him then that is all wrong
As if the right to take without asking to him only belong
He has made a few foes for whom he nurses a grudge
And he feels he is one with a right for to judge
And that he is a pure one he firmly believe
But he is one of those whom his own self does deceive.
