He, Me And We Poem by sujatha ganeshan

He, Me And We

On a rainy twilight, we
Walking through dense woods
With clasping hands
His imminence holds my breath.
Mind hangs on his hushed lyrics
Soul demands eternal pleasure-but
Toxic by his warmth fondle
Tussles to blend with his soul.
Heart cherishes his corporeal hassles
Still mind expects to reach infinite oneness
Piercing eyes halt my morals
He becomes the world-and
The world becomes 'he'
We become animals
Mind fades and soul succumbs.
