but he said we could never be,
i said what shall i do,
he said to move on,
i said i don't want to,
he said to let all my love be gone,
i said i want to be with you,
he said he'll miss me,
i said don't leave,
he said let it be,
i said i will grieve,
he said goodbye,
i said do not lie,
he said i'm not,
i said it is not a good bye,
he said what a thought,
i said it was a lie,
he said nothing,
i said bye,
and he walked away,
that was all i had to say.
