He Who Quenches The Thirst Of The Soul. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

He Who Quenches The Thirst Of The Soul.

Rating: 5.0

Mysticism is not a theory of the intellect
or a hunger of the heart
however passionate.

The whole self develops
definitely and peculiarly,
consciously and unconsciously
under the influence
of the intense longing for Him
who quenches the thirst of his soul.

Thus in the interests
of the transcendental life,
the whole human character is remade.
