Headroom Poem by Rob Knetsch

Headroom

he lives alone
he lives alone for as long
as he can remember
he lives in this house
he lives in this house for as long
as he can remember
his whole life

it is a large house
a large house with many rooms
many rooms with lots of stuff
rooms filled with memories stuff
rooms filled with ideas stuff
rooms filled with all kind of stuff
important and unimportant stuff

once in a while someone suggests
he should get rid of all that stuff
but he sees no reason
for there are plenty rooms
the amount feels infinite
as does it feels like
all this stuff is part of his life
