Health Poem by Owen Yang

Health

Rating: 5.0

The innocent patient and
The bustling hospital meet,
Little does he know about the red tape.

Kept waiting for 30 minutes,
The doctor calls him in,
Only to leave for 30 more.

Patient, patiently waiting,
Inside the busy hospital,
All for the wiser for red tape.

The emergency room is filled,
Most of the people ignored,
Left to die.

Only the ones that look in dire need are accepted
With less delay,
No matter if fatal or not.

The forgotten patients may be more in need, but
They are left to die.
Left to die.
