Heart An Open Book Poem by Anirudh Induchudan Anirudh Induchudan

Heart An Open Book

we sat side by side

you were very talkative

your hopes, your salary prospects

marriage, children and family

i sat silently

my silence spoke a lot

about how much i love you

my wish to be the pinkness of your lips

and witness of your eyeballs.

dear, i have no life left without you

yet you pretend not to see me.

why? for whom? for whwt?

are you playing any hide and seek game?

i know you love me.

then why this pretension.

loving is not a crime.

hating someone is bad.
