Heart Broken Poem by Heather Quail

Heart Broken

Rating: 5.0

The hurt and fustration come out in her voice as sarcastic whims,
the hurt she tries to hide will not subside, who is she trying to fool?
The world or herself, we may never know.
The lonely nights when she's alone,
she lets the other side of her be shown.
It's voices in her head she tries to tell to go away
each in a diffrent way, the ones that pop up at random times
often as she speaks ' i am fine.'
How can she make this life her own, this place she calls home,
she feels so alone.
Although she tries to surround herself with family and friends, in the end she's
all alone again.
She feels her life is ticking away, what is left will be just a waste.
