Heart In A Jar Poem by Brandon Vasquez

Heart In A Jar

Rating: 4.0

She keeps her heart in a jar,
Never been broken or scarred.
It's never been truly appreciated.
A double edged sword and she truly hates it.

Looks so beautiful behind the glass but only to admire.
Behind the glass it will only sit and expire.
If only her heart can break free,
Then maybe, she can take a chance.
Whether it's a victory, success or a disaster, mess.

As long as you rise when the tears fall,
You will always be okay remain strong.
But she's so afraid of heartache,
Can she trust the decisions her heart makes?
Can she truly handle heart break?
"One day will I find true love? "
Will "I" ever become "Us"?
No answers just questions thus far,
Her heart, still in the jar.
