Heart Of Earth Poem by Gabriel Victor Kukich

Heart Of Earth

The Purity's of the Artic
The flow of the lakes
Connected we are as man
To live here in dismay

To take advantage of gifts
Greed and neglect
Take from her
No need to reflect

Her love is fading
For we give none
So shall her
When our time has come

She has awoken
Alive and searching
Unsoundly words spoken
To curse us for what is broken

To sin on it's soil
burning all that is around
Its revenge has been found
To put a man into the ground

Pumping blood back into the world
That we have stole!
Feeding off man
We've taken our toll

Planet that makes man
Planet that takes man
To clear the slate
To start to make
Us! ! ! The mistake! ! !

Accidents at birth
Purely evil
Made from!
The earth! !

Evil incarnated she is
Makes us to break us
Just to play

Rivers
The veins of the earth
Feed and replenish them
Through pain and hurt

Rapture

Collapse of creation
The demise of all nations
The end pulls all life near
All matter, all forms of life
Gripped by one eternal fear

Heart of Earth bleeding out
It's beat slowed by the drought
Losing the soul that births new love
Drifting far away
Into the vastness above

Veiled by the rapture
Cloaked in the dark
Who can they trust?
Soon to be all bone and rust
