Heartbreaks Poem by Gary James Smith

Heartbreaks

Heartbreaks

I thank you Lord that you can take hearts
And mend them with your love
You know the crevices of brokenness
As You watch them from above
And never a heart was broken
As severely as your own
At the offering up as a Sacrifice
Of your only begotten Son

Who would have thought that a single name
Could offer up such a Salvation
But there it stands...Lord Jesus Christ
The hope for every nation
You shall call His name Jesus
In a dream to Joseph the angels revealed
And sure enough at His virgin birth
By the Holy Spirit it was sealed

Jesus Christ the most powerful name
In Heaven and upon Christ's earth
For whosoever shall call upon that name
In repentance has a second birth
Not a religion but a relationship
Not a religion but a relationship
Yes you have read it twice
It definitely deserves a second mention for He's paid sin's ransom price! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
