Hearts Silence Poem by William E. Dickinson

Hearts Silence

The infinite depths and twists
Of the unhearing of this world

Those whose faculties remain intact
But, see not the sound unfurled

For, sound is but emotion
Extending from the heart

Throughout the body, emanating
When, the soul of life has it's life

Vociferating, stretching out
The soul vocally in strife

For, hearing is part faculty
And, part a depth from deep within

The greater, being heart
That silence from within
