Heathered Dreams Poem by Thomas Foreman

Heathered Dreams

I saw beyond
The showcased garden,
Sown afar
To the roses abloom,
In quiet dream

A relentless romance,
Shrouded in ebullient bits
Of crimson tinge
Reflected in scarlet
Desire,
Amidst playful stream

A preferred stillness
Patterned in soft caress,
Sprouts of flavored emotion
Heathered in due finesse

Diversive are their intricacies,
Being brightly naked
In vexing vibrance

Blindly grown in justice,
Always ready
On chance and circumstance
