A girl in a home
A home she is not happy in
She doesn’t know where she came from
And no one knows how she’s been

A girl I know
She is lost
Hurting, but still I see her float
But there is a cost

A cost for her being so high up
She left all the bad and good behind
She was stuck
She was confined

Confined to a place that was no good for her
She had to get out
Leave and do something good before…
Before she became like her friends that fade out

And she did
But at the price of all the good she had too
But she had to bid adieu
Adieu to everyone and everything for good

But what happened to her?
We will never really know

She left and we know that she is in a better place
A place she can now call
Heaven
