Heaven Poem by Alan Chen

Heaven

Rating: 4.0

The watery night, calmly fills up the sky,
silver light spreads out
from a small sliver of the moon.
Strolling along a glistening beach,
listening to the rolling waves,
let your heart beat like the rhythm of a song,
sometimes strong,
sometimes soft,
recalling the joys of a forgotten past
while concieving new ideas for the future.
As you sit on the seashore,
you take out a book and face the blue,
and silence falls as the pages turn.
This is heaven.
