Reflecting on those sweet days
where life was the best.
You were here with me
I could finally rest.

I truly felt something
but you took it all away.
I know you do not like me
by the words you never say.

Lovers to friends
happiness is sure to die.
You had me at hello
but forgot to say goodbye.
