A wise man once told me the story of monkeys on a tree and the fish in the river below...
The monkeys watched in sheer disbelief and pity, the 'suffering' fish 'drowning' in the river. For them monkeys, anything in a pool of water can never survive.
And so in their magnanimity, they started their 'rescue' the drowning fish campaign, probably had their own hashtags #RescueTheDrowningFish...
Yes, the monkeys were 'wise' and 'nice' and all the fish they could 'help' were pulled out of the river and kept on the banks to further dry them of water.
As the 'poor' fish struggled for lack of air or whatever, the 'wise' monkeys rejoiced and hailed themselves as true 'saviours'.
The fish after a little time on the bank stopped struggling and death came upon them all...
Yet, the 'wise' monkeys told themselves that 'yes, they are sleeping and will wake to a brighter life soon'
And wake the fish did not.

Marvelous! You have described a phenomenon that takes place in one way or another throughout the world. Nicely done, Ojonuba. Thanks
Thanks Sir... it means much to me.
