In student circles, 'squish' is the word for jam.
In studenten Kreisen, German student circles,
jam is 'Kvetch',
from 'quetschen', to squash and to squish.

I am in the can is 'ich bin im Knast',
I am doing a stretch.

I am contented is 'ich bin wunschlos',
I have not a wish.
