Her Poem by Charlie Day

Her

Oh, her lips
That special way she swayed her hips
She was a dream that drew away my frown

Oh, those eyes
A sparkling blue promise of my demise
She was a nightmare hidden beneath her golden crown

Oh, her lovely voice
Loving her was never my choice
She was Godzilla tearing my Tokyo walls down

Oh, that day
How the music did make us sway
She was the rest of my life in an ornate white gown
