Her Poem by Justin Ballatin

Her

Rating: 3.0

I sank in deep blue water, and succumbed to the chills
That’s the last time I’ll seek any thrills,
Except for her.
Just yesterday, my heart was stolen away
I told myself never again, but I knew I would fall in the end
Just for her.
It reminded me of past puddles, and all my troubles
It reminded me of long sessions consisting of cuddles
All with her.

Nice invocation of a tug-of-war between the pleasent and the painful.
