Her (An Insight Of A Lover) Poem by Mary Neil Poisson

Her (An Insight Of A Lover)

The smell of sandalwood in her hair
The delicate touch of her hand on my body
Drowning me with her hypnotizing stare
Pulling my strings and enveloping me with her spell
Her luscious voice like chocolate
Whisper words that are so delicate
I watch her as she surrenders herself,
so fragile yet so bold and brave

I'm drunk with her whole being
Her skin is undeniably soft
Her lips are sensually calling me to kiss it
and her stare is drawing me in
Unable to resist, so I slowly give in
I'm intoxicated with her scent
cause she smells like paradise
I'm caught up in her smile
And got lost in her eyes

She's a drizzle of craziness
and sometimes ranging in storms
She's an intricate bouquet of roses,
surrounded by thorns
A smile that can light up an empty room,
and a heart that can make a garden bloom.

Drenching me with rain like I'm a year of drought
Reminding me that the best things cannot be bought
she's a ray of sunshine when I wake up in the morning
and the moon that shines brightly on the evening
she's got a beautiful mind that is hard to find
I'm lucky I found hers and I get to call her mine.
