Her Daily Self.! Poem by Ruby Hamilton

Her Daily Self.!

Dealing with you is my hardest job.
You make me cry, frustrated, happy, laugh all in a days time.
You love me than turn around and put me down.
You suffocate my spirit and cloud my air.
Sometimes I wish I can run away from you.
Evening arrives. You start to vanish from being my bestfriend into my worse enemy.
Tell me what is it that has caused you to treat me with such hatred.
What made this battle come to be with us.
Do you even know.?
Questions push you to an edge.
Impatience pull the both of us over.
We fall back from the world.
Tuned out.!
By night you give me rest.
This is the feeling I cherish most with you.
I know your intentions for me are always good.
You just get lost in the hurt and start to walk blindly with a self pitty.
Never will I fault you though.
I just wish you didn't give so much attention to the past hurt. Its beginning to weigh you down.
I promise this - I won't leave your side. I'll do my best to lean a hand when needed and see you through to the end. But promise me this - You won't resist me when I do try.!
Goodnight and sweet dreams.!
