To the depth and breadth and height;
I walked down the street
And in a second among crowds
I saw my soul nowhere in sight
Her stepping and walking sounds
Rippled the waves of the street
And in my ear ringing its beat
Lo! Bewitching and alluring beauty
Coming and passing by my side
In fear young cupid thought to hide
But where, so bashful her I spied
Shyly, dived into her subtlest field
Lest anybody may notice and find
My heart pounded when she glanced
When her eyes met mine
So helpless I turned
So breathless I rhymed
To hear myself murmuring, you are mine
But, alas! As she looked, swift in her eyes
Flew my young love to hide
For love beneath her eyelids peeped
And I could see in her blue eyes sea of love
Lying stored for ages, forever, captives mine……….

I would like to translate this poem
When someone is in love, it is obviously reflected in the eyes. Even in a crowd, one can identify one's loved one and the very sight quickens the heart beats and results in a rush of adrenaline! Love is magical and it has a magical effect. This poem beautifully describes the alluring effect of love on a pair of lovers!
Many many thanks.......Valsa........I am humbled
