Ender K Nova
Her Fragrance
It haunts me
heaving my eyelids
weaving through consciousness
leaving the light
As simple as amish lives
my wishes they are
Singing amen
i succumb to the dark
How still i would be
If only more so
waiting it starts
A flash then a spark
A scent the sensation
i welcome the overwhelming
Hurled by the surge
seldom should a smell ever singed my nerves
Surface submerged
body beaded like braids
with sweat chill as shade
Me left in its wake
Her fragrance assaults me in waves
First flooding my face
it cascades through my chest
the rush is rapid and i dare not ask to escape
