Her Metaphysical Beauty Poem by Tabraze Rasul

Her Metaphysical Beauty

She is neither corporeal
Nor just a faint dream
This jolting lilt I feel
Was I soulless till now?
The empty chasm
Of my beating chest
Now grows warm, comfort.
I no longer see with eyes
I no longer speak with lips

I’ve said farewell to this flesh
Ascension to her light I take
She is neither corporeal
Nor just a faint dream
