He is her best friend
He doesn’t see how much he means to her.
He is always there for her
His voice stays in her mind.

He is hurting her by leaving
He doesn’t want to hurt anyone else.
He doesn’t believe he is special
She is trying everything to not let him go.

She sits there thinking of him;
Her best friend in the whole world.

The person she always counted on
The person she gave her trust to.
The person she would always smile about.

He is gone
He disappeared from everyone including her.
She can not stop thinking of him
Her tears are trying hard not to roll down her face.

She looks out the window
Looking at the white snow
Hurting inside because he chose to leave
He said that he felt he had to in order to find himself,
But she has forgiven him.

She hopes and prays that he will come back to her
Knowing that she can not live without him there
He has made her a stronger person in life before he said hello.

He told her he will be around
He is like no other man she has ever known.
He has always told her to smile.

She is trying to smile
Knowing that he has to do it on his own.

She lets the tears fall once more
As she whispers
“I will have to let you go until next time we cross paths.”
