Her Touch Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Her Touch

She walks on blue light
Ethereal and soothing
The grass is so green with truth
Hold the moon in your heart
Let her rise like velvet fire
We all know the world is broken
Darling I can hear you breathe

Blue sea, blue eyes
Out of my reach like spring not here
Dappled emotion rises with dawn
Dreams without tears
Evening makes her eyes like sapphires
Yellow flowers grow like visions
The world has failed me
I seek love
I seek quiet

Everything grows with hope
Her words make me want to be tender
She likes when I am gentle
Meaning can be so abstract
Her touch brings me shivers
Her touch brings me hope
