Here Poem by Aidan Clevinger

Here

Here, where thoughts and men are quiet,
Nothing is as it seems.
The world outside screams in riot,
But here is the soft sound of dreams.

Here no seeker is rejected,
Nor wealth or status tested,
To come, all are requested,
But each comes as the Spirit deems.

Here no man turns against his brother,
There is no smell of blood or war.
Here men may dream without each other,
Or together taste the dream of More.

Here can we reflect in silence,
Away from noise and violence,
In gentle, sweet compliance,
To whatever thoughts our thoughts have in store.

Here we all have learned the answer
For hope and joy to find.
We are set free of the devilish cancer
While the world outside is blind.

Here our convictions are no different,
Here no wasted energy is spent,
Rather these things become irrelevant,
Here, in this lovely place called Truth.
