Here I Rise. Poem by venessa ambrose

Here I Rise.

Lies! Lies! ! Lies! ! !
That's all you say,
Yet you want me to stay,
Sulking in pains,
Living in chains,
With boundary in my heart,
And misery my only art,
The limits of the world,
All lies in my heart,
As you survey the world,
And I die in the block.

Am tired of your true lies,
Your endless tales,
What an insipid taste!
The world awaits the new me,
Even the ego you killed,
Now shines with images,
And a head so high to win,
With the earth as my privilege,
Am talking the planet,
And you aren't needed.
