Here it is
The loveliest of
All months of
Any year
With its pretty days
And with its pretty nights,
Here it is
The fasting month
Whereas the fasting faithfuls
Welcome it
With their daily performances of
Prayers,
With their lovely worshiping, and
With their reciting of the Holy Quran,
All fasting faithfuls abstain from
All kinds of foods and
All kinds of drinks only
For God' sake,
Here it is a different month
With all that it contains,
Here it is the pretty month
Whereas each one feels
The others' needs especially
The poor people and
The needed ones,
Here it is the pretty lanterns
Are displayed everywhere,
Here it is the month
Whereas all that is good
Is always there,
Here it is the pretty Ramadan.
