Heroines of Alice Munro

In the towns, random are city girls
(The girls forced to diet
Small size and petite, twiggy or Barbie
In dream, all marching on Runway
As if the movies, Hollywood, are waiting.)

There, women are saving
Natural charm and its scent
Also fat, for grab and winter.
