Hidden. Poem by Sierra Evans

Hidden.

Some words were meant to be untold; to hide inside the darkness of your soul.
Some things were supposed to be untrue, like all the things that happened between me and you.
It hurts me so to look into your eyes, and see those hidden tears that've been there for all this time.
You've chased away my demons, but now they're catching up to you.
won't you break away, before it's too late?
Secret is our love, for it is forbidden and from their falsities.
I have bled, crimson tears fall from my veins.
Take my heart, rip it out, take me away. I have fallen for you, once again.
I'll never tell you, because some words are better left untold, they will turn the inner beings of your soul cold.
Chill your blood and make you scream.
Soon you'll wake up, into another dream.
Some lips are better left unkissed,
for the bitterness of their hearts made them sour.
