Hide and Seek

She is playing
Lover's game;
Day after day
'tis all the same.
Going up and down
With the guys;
All the while
Telling lies.

Maybe she has
No shame;
Roaming the streets
In vain:
Boys street,
Crevice and Lane;
What rewards
Can she obtain?

About us I won't
Forget;
She cheats and
She will regret.
The memories
I'll keep in my heart;
Those current and
Those from the start.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
