Running faster than words can chase
Another monster seeing me face to face
Try and hide and you will see
The dark brings light to the enemy
Falling fast and I'm breaking too
The bright lights remind me of you
I hate you for breaking me
I hate you for making me
This emptiness inside of me
Is the hope that made me free
Have you ever closed your eyes
And looked thru these broken lies?
Seen the monster that has found me
The hellish side that screams to be free
When you lose all hope in yourself
And the monster show you peace
You close your eyes and find
A miserable memory
