Every time I hear your voice
I keep thinking things will change
My friends told me to lose hope
But I don't want to go on another day
I thought you were my loving side
When my tears fell you would cry
But I see now I was all alone
That you kicked me out
Instead of took me home
I'll never understand why you left me
I said the words but you were empty
I guess we fell too far apart
Tearing apart this once full heart
But my side continues to beat
While yours is dead a sleep
I guess only few words will say
I love you still to this day
