Hiding In Your Cage (My Heart) Poem by Stacy Brown

Hiding In Your Cage (My Heart)

No, I do not trust you any more.
I have felt the rise and fall of your twisted tales
the double guess when I cant breathe.
You've hit me hard, and disappeared in to the night.
I cant dance this rhythm any more
You burn, you hesitate, you lie.
Im tired of living irrationally and following your whims
It gets me nothing.
I have to end this control you have over me
dont hug me so tight
the constriction of your lies have done their damage
and still you want more to fill all those broken places
I am not your glue, you were supposed to be mine.
You have betrayed me endlessly over this life time
so excuse me if I dont trust you any more.
Just please dont die.
