High Tide Poem by JoAnn McGrath

High Tide

Somethings pulling at me
Like the moon and it's rotations
Setting the seas ebbs and flows
I have no other explanation

At times receding
Like the empty tide waters
Yet one can still find a few treasures there
If you look a little closer

I'll just sit back and wait
It's the cycle of things that coincide
For every low there is a summit
Here comes high tide

There are Highs and lows in any life... JoAnn.. When your on a high you just have to take out the trusty old surf board and ride it for all its worth...10

a wonderful way to explain moods. I like the way your poem ends on an upbeat note.

How beautifully you have expressed the rise and fall of ones emotions to the tides. Great concept, your gray matter is doing beyond well.. Happy most especially to see you feeling better.....I presume that because you are awake before dawn here in the states...I am more happy that you are on a high right now...It sure beats the lows, that I for one can attest to. Too many of those............hugs, marci.

Emotions flowing and perhaps with the moon they're coming. going? As the sea below is stillness and all knowing.

JoAnn, simplicity at its best with the message set in a silk wrapping. Beautiful and thanks for sharing it my special friend. David xxx
