Highway Cars Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Highway Cars

Where do those cars
traveling on the highway go?
Do they eventually turn
& drive back
to the dirt road?

The blue car
is headed to its home
in the countryside
far away from
the bustling city

A white mustang cobra
speeds by with ease
the driver not
looking back
for his home
will be elsewhere

A lone black van
with a cheerful family
carries them
to their destination
where they make
unforgettable memories
that the girl will recall always
when the fun disappears

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I've always wondered where the people on the highway go and where they came from. Sometimes while traveling on there I make up stories of where they are headed. With this, the basis of this poem came to life and from there I filled in the gaps.
