Him



His arrival is anticipated like the Sun at dawn
He is awaited for like a full moon at sunset
He is not a superhero, but it doesn't hurt to try
If I cannot have him surely I shouldn't cry?
He flits between the sheets
Of broads in the heat
I still await like a faithful puppy
Turning bright colours like a guppy
His presence makes me glow
I have no proof to show
He is the ultimate dream
He alone makes me scream
In pleasure and in pain
With him together, I gain
