Him Poem by Chantelle Nixon

Him

Rating: 5.0

The brownest eyes, the strongest hands
I just can't help how weak I am
The sweet embrace that could last for hours
How it makes me wish this world was ours
He speaks my name, and my stomach's in knots
He grabs my hand, and my heart almost pops
Just one kiss, just only one time
I fear it would cause the ending of ALL time
And whenever I sleep, or just close my eyes
It's his face I see, his deep and tender eyes
One day I hope we will be together
Hopefully it will be forever
But until that day, I'll just keep writing
Letting all my emotions drain away to him
