Hippie Grandad

Nutty banana milkshakes
The smell of Lilac and Gardinia
Clean air
Clean man
Hippie Grandad

Green grass, fresh fruit
Long strands of curly hair
Crazy cool
Crazy man
My Hippie Grandad

Tie dye shirts, Ripped jeans
Not scared of getting older
Young spirit
Tender man
Loving Grandad

Organic life, outspoken soul
Rusty bike, dirty Keds
Open mind
Wise man
Was my Hippie Grandad...

poet Robert Burns

When biting Boreas, fell and doure,
Sharp shivers thro' the leafless bow'r;
When Phoebus gies a short-liv'd glow'r,
Far south the lift,
