His Love Letter Poem by Joyce Hemsley

His Love Letter

He tells her:

I simply adore thee
to the highest degree,
I kneel down before thee
and nought changeth me.

You are kind dear, divine dear
your light is my way...
I am blind dear by design dear
when your eyes start to stray.

I possess thee, intensely;
something's happening to me
so please stay beside me
I'm in love...can't you see?

My mind fears the darkness
should you travel away
to those far distant places
when I beg you to stay.

If you leave me, deceive me
I will climb mountain high
Dive into the Danube
or jump in the Rhine.

So come to me, dance with me
and taste of the wine,
let us cling to each other,
like the fruits on the vine.

Signed: The one who
worships thee.
