His Memory Lives On Poem by angel sikorski

His Memory Lives On

Heaven opened its gates an inside you now reside.
I look around this cold world for a sign,
a sign that might reveal to me I'm not as alone as I feel,
an suddenly a song shall play to remind me that
your memory will forever play on.

Airplanes flying across the sky,
a gentle breeze upon my cheek,
a young girl walking hand an hand with her grandfather,
this I know must be the sign I've hoped to see,
for they each speak to my heart, saying.....

'Hush now child for although I am gone, alone you are not...
although you grieve apart of me lives on,
for inside of you I will forever reside,
you see the ties that bind you an I......
not even death can reach,
when you speak of me I am near,
when a tear falls upon your cheek I am there,
when your fears take hold fear not for I am with you still....'

So until we meet again my precious Pa.....
although my tears will fall,
an my heart will forever feel the ache,
I will hold tightly to your memory for I know that.....
alone I am not....
your presance is always with me.
