His Own Scottish Lass Poem by Joyce Hemsley

His Own Scottish Lass

Those Strathclyde girls are so pretty,

It said ~ in a Glasgow ditty.

And soon he was in the Cathedral

Near the Altar at the side of his Bride.

He turned towards her and kissed her

All his loving he wanted to give her,

Vowed he would love her forever

His own Scottish lass from Strathclyde.
