History Not Written Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

History Not Written

History not written

They swam in Rio
Raised their hands with flag:
White and red and blue.

They are who have the rights
To say and to claim, win prize
To make up history and to write.

But this time…
Before ink that they used could dry
Came along some ‘nonsense and blind'
As Yankees mark the rest ‘Not-US'.

Rejected,
Arrested
Behind bars
And proved:
"Right is wrong."

"They are kids and too young."
"It was game, they played as drunks."
"Forget it, is no case for drum."

Shout the good peace-loving Americans.

They do same after kill and murder
They do same after their bloodshed.

Read the books, articles on the Red-Indians
And comments on slaves and Blacks:
"Was not me…was in past! "

Join me now in this shout:
"You do wrong, kill, murder
Suck blood and torture
Then rewrite history
And cry crocodile
If ever seen and caught
Red-handed with smoke in your gun."
