Hold Me Tight

Maybe if someone holds me tight
 I wouldn't cry all night

You can look me in the eyes
and I will tell you I'm fine
but on the ice formed by lies
standing on a slippery line

(don't let go, hold me tight)

I'm so empty, I'm so cold
In this frenzy and about to fold
Wish my heart could be as bold

(Only if you hold me tight
I wouldn't cry all night)

So alone without the light
Happiness no longer bright
Out of sight and on my own
Gone, and now I'm far from home

Just hold me tight(hold me tight)
So I won't cry all night(cry all night)
Be my light (my light)
And Help me take flight(take flight)
Beyond the height(outta of sight)

Look me in the eyes
Don't tell me your surprised
I'm So empty, I'm So cold
My heart about to crumble and fold
Out of sight and on my own
So far away from home(with you gone)

Maybe if someone holds me tight
I wouldn't cry all night
Maybe if someone hold me right
I wouldn't cry all night

Only if you hold me tight
Love me right
Keep my bright
In your sight
With all your might

Standing on this ice(hold me tight)
Telling you I'm not fine(love me right)
Formed by lies(be my light)
Far pass the line(keep me bright)
Warm our ties(with all your might)
Give me a sigh(so I won't cry all night)

(Now the time
That you hold me tight, and let the night be right)

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.

If with light head erect I sing,
