Hold On To Your Dreams
If only I could hold your hand,
If only you would understand,
But I know that touching has been banned,
If only I could hold your hand!
If only I were allowed to kiss,
And you granted me this moment of bliss,
There'd be no heaven quite like this
If I were only allowed to kiss!
I know I'm asking far too much
Desiring one sweet tender touch,
Do you think I'm speaking double-dutch
When I ask you for one tender touch?
You are the angel of my dreams,
My final love, or so it seems,
At the end of the tunnel a light still gleams
And whispers 'Hold on to your dreams! '
